The Loft Gallery of Occoquan invites you to their upcoming November exhibit, “Whimsies” featuring the artwork of Deanna Boling.
Deanna is best known for painting wildlife. Taking a slight detour from “fur and feathers” she began assessing her tin toy menagerie as subjects. Bright colors, shiny metal and wind-up keys began to coalesce into new mini-scenarios. Her sense of humor added a wonderful touch of “whimsy” that launched her into this series.
