Painting flowers can be intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. In my years of designing floral patterns for fabric and painting florals in acrylics and oils, I’ve developed methods of simplifying these complex and beautiful subjects, and I’d love to share them with you.
Classes are limited to 10 students and are taught through demonstration and one on one instruction. Small class sizes mean lots of direct assistance with your painting.
In this workshop you will learn:
- how to paint floral bouquets expressively
- bring vibrancy and movement into your flowers
- how to create shadow areas without getting muddy – especially on yellow flowers!
- tips on how to make a grocery store bouquet a more interesting painting subject.
- methods for working solvent free with oils.
