Cindy has been working with alcohol ink since 2020 and is a self-taught artist creating primarily abstract and representational artworks as well as usable art items. She is also a member of the Alcohol Ink Art Community, participating in annual online conferences. While primarily an alcohol ink artist, she also loves to work with acrylics to create mandala-style usable artworks.
For over 25 years, Cindy worked in Human Resource Management for big tech and government contracting companies, setting up and running their HR departments. After retirement from the “big” job, Cindy served as an Office Manager and Board Member for Fairfax Choral Society for over 4 years.
Cindy currently resides in Annandale, Va with her husband of over 25 years and her black lab, Ruby. She has two adult daughters living in Taiwan and New York. While her main passion is art, she is also an avid reader, a huge Nationals and Penn State fan, loves to travel and spend time with her rather large family in Pennsylvania.
