Mike Flynn (Watercolor) – Originally from central New York, Mike graduated from Loyola College in Montreal in 1972, moved to the Washington, D.C. area, and completed a 28-year career in federal law enforcement. He and his wife Peggy have three grown children.
Mike prefers impressionism, with loose brush work and the freedom to view subjects in his own way, but will accept the challenge of detailed subjects too. In recent years, Mike has explored working in mixed media, combining inks, watercolor, charcoal and gouache. He teaches watercolor and mixed media classes at the Center for the Arts – Candy Factory, Manassas, VA. Class details can be found at their web site: www.Center-for-the-Arts.org .
